Chloride Exide India Limited (CEIL) has officially appointed CEB as partners for its industrial range of batteries for the SADC region.

Trojan Batteries USA has appointed CEB as their distributor.
2011
The company is now well established as a major exporter of Botswana, exporting 70% of its production into 9 SADC countries.
2010
The company moved part of its manufacturing equipment to a new site measuring 15,000 sq metres. This improved the total production capacity to 500k per annum.
2009
New automatic assembly line and a COS machine was acquired to improve quality and productivity.
2006
The company attained the BOS ISO9001:2001 Quality Management Systems Certification.
2005
Entered the Mozambique battery market with the assistance of BEDIA

Built a new factory building measuring 3000 sq metres and bought new equipment to increase production capacity to 225,000 units per annum

Penetrated the Namibia, Zambia, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Swaziland battery market.

The Adam family bought the company shares from Chloride Group Plc to become equal business partners with Taurus Batteries (Pty) Ltd.

The first automotive battery was manufactured in Botswana by CEB.

Joint venture agreement entered into between Chloride Group Plc and Taurus Batteries (Pty) Ltd to set up an automotive battery factory in Botswana.
